The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) estimates that there will be 12% rise in cancer cases in India by the next five years. The most common forms of cancer affecting the people of India are CA- CERVIX, CA-LUNG, CA-BREAST & CA-ORAL. Early stages detection and diagnosis can successfully treat the disease.
4km walkathon – to create awareness among society about cancer, encouraging its prevention and treatment.
A talk & presentation on cancer awareness program was given by, Department of OBG, ENT, Respiratory medicine, General surgery and Pathology.
Audience are, all teaching & non-teaching staffs, PG & Interns, Nursing & Medical students.
